Bluish-green leaves that look like columbine if you don't do a double take. Dried crushed leaves make a nice aroma. Male flowers got the tassel look going on, females. Have a red/purple brushy end. Nice yellow fall color.
Similar to Thalictrum occidentale (Western meadowrue), but hardier and way...well, taller.
