Best grown in deep, dampish soils in full sun to part shade.

Colorblast berries, tolerates a wide range of soils, but prefers it more moisty and loamy than the elder blue.

We believe the berry is able to be processed the same way as the blue elderberry, but internet research is only 80% convincing so let us know if you have convincing guidance.

Spreads via root suckers to form colonies.
